Easy Baked Salmon (Flaky, Juicy & Totally Foolproof)
Perfectly flaky, buttery, and incredibly tender, this Easy Baked Salmon is a reliable, stress-free dinner that feels elegant but takes almost no effort!
Ingredients
- 1–1½ lbs salmon fillet
- 1 tablespoon olive oil or melted butter
- Salt
- Black pepper
- Garlic powder
- Optional lemon slices
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Place the salmon on the sheet and pat dry.
- Brush lightly with olive oil or melted butter.
- Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Add lemon slices if using.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes until flaky and just cooked through.
- Let it rest briefly before serving so all the flavors settle perfectly.
Variations
- Don’t overbake. Salmon loves a gentle touch! Remember that whether it is pancakes or fish….things keep cooking even when you take them out of the oven.
- A squeeze of fresh lemon brightens everything.
