One Pot Lasagna Pasta

A comforting one-pot lasagna with rich marinara and creamy ricotta, going from the stove top to the tabletop in less than 30 minutes!

Recipe

Ingredients:

  • One onion
  • One 25 ounce jar of marinara sauce 
  • Whole milk ricotta cheese
  • One 16 ounce box of pasta of choice (I love using Cavatappi!)
  • Four cups of water or broth
  • 2 pounds of ground beef
  • Seasonings: sea salt, pepper, red pepper flake, garlic powder 
  • For garnish: fresh grated parmesan cheese and flat leaf parsley 

Instructions:

  • Brown the meat 
  • Add the chopped onion, broth, marinara sauce and pasta
  • Bring to a boil and immediately reduce, cooking on between low and medium for ~15-20 minutes (until noodles are al dente)
  • Stir occasionally while cooking
  • Add in ÂĽ cup of ricotta cheese (or more if you like it extra creamy)
  • Enjoy!
