One Pot Lasagna Pasta
A comforting one-pot lasagna with rich marinara and creamy ricotta, going from the stove top to the tabletop in less than 30 minutes!
Recipe
Ingredients:
- One onion
- One 25 ounce jar of marinara sauce
- Whole milk ricotta cheese
- One 16 ounce box of pasta of choice (I love using Cavatappi!)
- Four cups of water or broth
- 2 pounds of ground beef
- Seasonings: sea salt, pepper, red pepper flake, garlic powder
- For garnish: fresh grated parmesan cheese and flat leaf parsley
Instructions:
- Brown the meat
- Add the chopped onion, broth, marinara sauce and pasta
- Bring to a boil and immediately reduce, cooking on between low and medium for ~15-20 minutes (until noodles are al dente)
- Stir occasionally while cooking
- Add in ÂĽ cup of ricotta cheese (or more if you like it extra creamy)
- Enjoy!
