Delicious creamy chicken dish with herbs served on an elegant plate, perfect for fine dining experiences.

Creamy Garlic Chicken (Fast and Delightfully Easy!)

Tender chicken in a silky, garlicky, Parmesan-kissed sauce that tastes like way more effort than it actually is. Cozy, rich, and dangerously delicious over pasta, rice, or crusty bread!

Ingredients

  • 1½ – 2 lbs chicken breasts or boneless chicken thighs
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • Garlic powder
  • 4–6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • ¾ – 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Instructions

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Season the chicken with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  • Sear until golden on both sides and cooked through, then transfer to a plate.
  • Lower the heat slightly and add butter and garlic to the pan.
  • Cook just until fragrant. About 30 seconds. (Do not brown it.)
  • Pour in chicken broth and let it simmer for about one minute.
  • Reduce heat to low and stir in grated Parmesan until smooth and fabulously creamy.
  • Return the chicken to the pan and spoon that glorious sauce over the top.
  • Let everything mix and mingle for a few minutes.
  • Serve over pasta, rice, mashed potatoes, or with bread for sauce-scooping purposes. (Our favorite bread to pair with this chicken is this simple Dutch Oven No Knead Bread that is dense, crusty and ready with almost zero effort!;)
