Chewy Eggnog Cookies

Eggnog Cookies are the holiday shortcut you didn’t know you needed—soft, buttery, and packed with that creamy nutmeg-spiced flavor everyone loves. No chilling, no fuss, just simple cookie dough that bakes up golden and festive in minutes. A quick eggnog glaze takes them from “yum” to “where have these been all my life?” Recipe below!

Ingredients

  • ½ cup butter, softened
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 1 egg yolk
  • ¼ cup eggnog
  • 1 ½ cups flour
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp nutmeg
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  • Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.
  • Mix in egg yolk and eggnog.
  • Stir in dry ingredients until combined.
  • Drop spoonfuls on parchment.
  • Bake 350°F for 10–12 minutes — edges just barely set.
