Creamy Lemonade
Craving something ice-cold, creamy, and wildly refreshing? This Creamy Lemonade is a zesty-sweet game-changer—made with fresh-squeezed lemons, silky sweetened condensed milk, and a splash of fizzy seltzer that makes it sing. It’s tangy, smooth, and dangerously easy to sip—perfect for sunny afternoons, backyard hangs, or late-night porch sitting. Dial it up with lemon zest, tone it down with extra water, or spike it with vodka for a citrusy twist on happy hour.
Recipe
Ingredients
- 8-10 freshly juice lemons (minimum of one cup of lemon juice, more if you prefer it tart)
- 1 can (14 oz) of sweetened condensed milk
- 2 cups of cold water
- Optional seltzer water
Instructions:
- Juice the lemons. Click here to learn the amazing hack for getting more juice out of your lemons!
- Mix the juice and the sweetened condensed milk.Use a mixer, blender or immersion blender to mix. It may take a few minutes but they will stick together after a bit of mixing!
- Add water. Add the water and stir until completely combined.
- When you’re ready to serve, add ice and top off with a splash of seltzer water (trust me – this takes the flavor over the top!!!) and some lemon zest.
Notes:
- Remember to play with the amount of lemon juice and sweetened condensed milk based on your personal preferences
- Garnish with a slice of lemon, some freshly grated lemon zest or a dash of whipped cream
- This actually keeps quite well in the fridge for a few days. I like to keep it in a mason jar and give it a good shake before serving.
- If you want an adult version, add a shot of vodka or top off with prosecco instead of seltzer!
